i know that diffrent universities in iran had started and finished more than 12 million genom-tests and they got out that they all have the same genom-basis.
that means azeris are not turk.

im very well informed about kurdish people.
but as long as i know azeris are in about 65% not turk.
their language became turkish, but not the hole language.
most of the words in azeri-language belong to farsi words. and they have even words in their language, which belong to old-avestian-zoroastrian language
