I have T8 and T12, trikking if have time and have a nice day. It's a great fun production. Now I am gradually like the Pon-E, because sometime the car drivers here are afraid of my Trikke when I swing with my Trikke, so I cann't trikking on the road to some farther parks. I think the Pon-E can solve this problem.
MegaDumbdog...I've read all your posts and I think you've more than adequately conveyed your point of view on this. Can you agree to disagree...and start posting positively on some cyclist related videos instead?
...but it is pricey, there's no getting around that. Hopefully sales will take off and they can lower their pricing at some point 'cause I want one...BAAAAAAAD!!! ;-)
Right on Trikkenino...if you love it great, if you don't (regardless of how much research or test driving you have or have not actually invested in) then vote with your wallet. Don't waste space online with repeated posts of the same point of view...state your case and move on! I have a T8 and a T12 and love them...I think the battery/motorized piece makes this a valid choice for commuters (aids in navigating traffic scenarios)
What an awesome ride. Just saw on recently in my hometown of Fayetteville Arkansas. Was man powered but looked great fun and dude was killing a hill I never would have thought he could conquer! Trikke is definitely getting around to be showing up in Arkansas!
They are starting to show up here in Fayetteville Arkansas, we hillbillies are always last to see a new trend. Proof positive they are gaining momentum!
Looks like a fantastic vehicle to me. The hostile postings confirm that the US crowd is the scariest crowd on planet Earth. nothing hostile towards Hummers and other horrid ideas from these dumb people. I want my Pon E !
This is THE MACHINE of the century! Don't know what Megadumbdog is on about to be so bitter towards this absolutely awesome 100% Recyclable Personal Transporter. Comparing it to a bike, skates or anything else but snow skiing, is surely a sign of utmost ignorance!
Trikke is made for people who feel for it and not for ones who criticize, and haven't yet had the luck, honor and pleasure of trying ONE
I use the motor 20% of the time or less on mine, and commute to work on it and back daily... The motor helps on a busy two lane street where there is practically no bike lane, so no room to carve..
A segway is more like $5000, and no option at all to get any exercise with one of those... I used to have the Tribred Free Rein, which you can still get for under $900, but upgraded to the Pon-e with LIon battery, which I like even more... I also have a manual T8 used for fitness trail riding.
