Mirror Image (Jelena) ep.2

GUYS! I decided to use the original names of the characters so you wont get confused except for Alex, Mary, Shane and Bertie.

"Mr. Shane Dawson?" Bertie came up behind him.
"Yes." He nodded.
"Come, follow me. Mr.Henderson and her daughters are waiting in the study room."Bertie scanned him as they enter the mansion. "What happened to you?"
Shane turned red from the embarrassment. "I---uh...I ran on to something. Can I change first before I meet them?"
"I'm afraid not. I don't know where you're staying here and I don't have the rights to give decisions on such matters."
"Oh. I guess I'll have to face them with these clothes...muddy clothes."
"I'm really sorry."Bertie said with an apologetic smile.
Mary opened the door of the study room before Shane could knock. At the moment she opened it, they were both struck by each other's beauty. Shane was surprised to see the wild woman she met outside with an elegant lavender dress and flowing hair. Mary could not take her eyes off him. Shane was the first one to recover from the shock.
"Wow. You're gorgeous."
"Actually, I'm Mary. And you are?" She said with a giggle.
"i'm Shane. Why were you so mad outside?"
She flashed him a confused look and recovered from it. "Now, I think youre talking about my twin sister, Alex."
Shane couldn't speak for a moment. He thought he did not hear it right."You have a twin sister?I met two different persons?And you are Mary and the one a while ago was Alex?"
Mary only nodded to him. "yeah.I am Mary."
At that moment, Mr. Henderson came out the room. "Shane Dawson?"
"Yes, sir." And the two men shake hands."Thank you for letting me live here for a while."
"No problem.This is one of my daughters,Mary. They are twins. I believe they are about your age" Mr. Henderson looked sideways. "Where's Alex?"
Alex came downstairs running and scratching her arms. "Geez. This dress is a torture."
Mary,Shane and Mr. Henderson looked up to see Alex in a dress. It was a green halter dress that revealed her velvet skin, brown eyes and hair and her perfect figure.
Alex was surprised to see all three of them staring at her. And she was astonished to see the "slave" she saw outside. She came to them and kissed Mary and her father. "Hello."
"Where have you been?" Mr. Henderson asked.
"I was---"She couldn't think of any reason.
"She was riding her horse." Shane supplied.
Mary,Alex and Mr.Henderson looked at him in surprise.
"Oh. I see you two have already met." Mr. Henderson smiled. "Alex, this is Shane Dawson, a family friend who will live with us from now on." He forced her to step forward to Shane. "Shane, this is my other daughter,Alex Henderson. She's the younger one."
Shane kissed Alex's cheek and whispered through her ear,"Slave,huh?"
Alex turned red from embarrassment and her father saw it.
"Then, Alex might be the one who caused you these muddy clothes,huh?" Mr.Henderson questioned.
Shane grinned at Alex and said."No, Mr.Henderson. It was an accident. In any case, can I change before we have tea?"
"Sure. Girls, can you show Shane his room and where his suit cases were brought?"
Mary nodded."Of course, father. Alex?"
"No. I'll just stay here...if thats ok."
Shane could see Alex's embarrassment from their meeting and decided to help her out. "It's fine to be escorted by a single beautiful woman. I don't need two, Mr.Henderson."
Alex turned away and headed to the study room stumbling with her high heels and her father followed her and closed the door behind them.
Shane chuckled at the sight of her.
"Are you laughing at my sister?" Mary asked.
Shane stopped for her tone was really mad. "I---uh...No."
"Good. I'll show you to your room."
"Fine."
They walked upstairs. "This is your room. Its beside Alex's."
Shane looked at her.
"Dont mind her. She might be noisy sometimes but you can ask her to keep quiet. My room is the one beside Alex's other side and the other one beside you is father's."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome. Now, make yourself at home." She turned to walk away.
"I'm sorry. I did not mean to laugh at her. Can we start all over?" Shane asked after her.
She walked toward him. "Fine. We're friends. I'll wait for you to change and we'll go to the study room together."
He grinned. "Sweet!"
