i just worked the harmonica out probably not correct but sounds good but i think it is just a c and a b and then you can move to g and a in bits so its just blowing down the 3rd hole from the right and then drwaing back after you blow you draw this sounds quite good

We should give more people the benefit of doubt, i do agree, but you're missing something here; I do not love pete because of his drug use, to be honest, I hate that part of him. I love his music, I love his poetic lyrics and I love how beautiful, witty&funny he can be. Of course, the drugs give him more of 'rock 'n' roll attitude' but i don't think that's why most of his fans love him.

By all means. I don't think people like Pete BECAUSE of drugs. But I think a lot of people (honestly, myself included to some degree) start to see that "rock + roll attitude" as alluring AFTER getting really into the music. I mean people are walking around with shirts his website sells that say "Who's got the crack?" on them. I know that's a song, but you can't deny that Pete (and other musicians) attract some people to drugs and that drug use adds (but doesn't originate) intrigue to the music.

Yeah I think you're right. I used to have a strange obsession for drugs (without ever have used it) and he fits to the poetic-waster-rock 'n' roll star. And yeah, I think he may inspire people to take drugs, but honestly? I think those people are stupid. IF you take drugs, you should do so because you want it/want to try it, and not because of some indiepoet who is killing himself.
