  • I have been bodybuilding for years and always thought something was a bit off, and i think it was my mind body connection. I feel like now somehow i will have better gains because i am visualizing them. I never thought about that possibility before, seriously some amazing advice. If i knew this person i would probably hug them

  • @totalhealth4life Yeah that was the quote. I got into exercising about three years ago. I've gotten increasingly serious about it as time goes by. People who choose to neglect their mind or body are seriously missing out on life.

  • I do a ketogenic diet for many reasons, here are some things that are real important for ME, in making this diet effective. 1. High level of ketones 2. Restrict carbs to very low levels, less than 20g. 3. Restrict protein levels to body requirements 4. Restrict fluid intake, this will increase ketone concentration. 5. Eat a SLIGHTLY subcaloric diet. 6. I eat a large percentage of calories from fat, about 70%.

    I use MCT's, (coconut oil) occasionaly, but that stuff is rough on the gut.
