the end is funny :)

@MastaGambit It really doesn't. Arabian music does not sound anything like this. Indian music may however but even then is still a different beast.

Sounds a tad too Arabian. >>

this is a seven hole shakuhachi

@Polanskyful no problem ^^
and yes... it seems to me like a chinese salute... bring his hands together (chinese salute) but he has the flute in his hands so is a chinese salute... with a flute :)
but maybe japanese people has a similar salute too... i don't know

I just realized... this is in MY City Hall!!!
-
@Candros89 Oh yeah, I didn't say this, but he's doing a benefit concert at my school May 11! My Japanese teacher studied Japanese folk music under him while she lived in Japan!

@Candros89 I apologize for my slightly sharp comment... but he brings his hands together on the flute?
-
@Polanskyful you'r right... i got no idea... my thoughts are assumptions. but at the very end he does a chinese salute... right after the bow
-
@Candros89 You have no idea what you are talking about. He is playing the shakuhachi. the shakuhachi is a traditional Japanese flute. He did not salute at the end. He bowed. It is a common practice among performers of all races. Finally, you cannot judge a person's nationality based on their clothes.
I loved it <3
