My family are blood brothers to the Shoshone. In the early evening, as the sun turns purple and the sky darkens, the wolves come, the mosquitoes light on the river as the trout jump for their dinner - suddenly it becomes too cold to bear it - but the lightl and the heat suddenly glow from the fire - we are one with the sky, the earth, the trout, the wolf, the water and the fire - and each other.
