verapamil07, yeah, hard to believe this one is 1988... right?!?!
It's ahead of its time as a trancey acid track, relative to the acid/trance/techno sounds of the 90's early rave movement. This is not bad at all.
I was just learning to DJ in 1987-88, and the only acid-house i heard was the Chicago style stuff like Steve 'Silk' Hurley "jack your body" etc. I didn't get the euro stuff till later. And I guess I missed this one. Didn't know who 808 State was until '92 '93.. RAVE ON! :D
Well yeah, remember this is acid house. They took the beat some of the lyrics and remixed it. Even the times Barney helped out with 808 State there were no lyrics.
Great acid track. I remember that my good friend bought this track, probably re-print or maybe original and included it in his mix. I thought the track was great but I didn't know that it was 20+ old.
the born of electrohouse :)

It's a remix made by 808 State of New Order's song "Confusion"
