  • Mama Marimba Ani is a dynamic scholar, healer, antropologist and a sheroe amongst Africans in this planet earth.

Her Yurugu teaches us to breakaway from the so-called dominates of European ideology and to get back into our own realities as Africans.

Mama Marimba is an inspiration amongst African people.

  • This woman's book changed my life.

  • mama! I love you

  • this is one beautiful woman/sister..Hey look, I just want to say that I can fully relate to what she is sayin' & where her words possess powerful truth in their context. However, I do not have the slightest degree of conflict or feel contradiction with her analysis & the revelation I & other blacks have that we possess knowledge of

True God & honest & complete relationship with God in Christ JESUS- there is NO contradiction. The so-called pple who exploited in Jesus' name were THEIVES & LIARS

  • I ordered the book Yurugu and I can't wait to get it! I'm bubbling with exciitement at losing my old wounded self in exchange for a new, healed self. Time is running out. Thank you Goddess Marimba Ani:D
