@baabaaization Yeah I noticed in the anime that her life wasn't as sad later on(once she started going to school). And I noticed that a lot of things happened in the manga that didnt happen until MUCH later in the anime. Then I realized how many fillers the anime REALLY has. And yeah, Izumi was a bee-yotch in the anime. The anime made me cry like crazy because Meroko ended up alone. I know a bit of what happens to her in the manga though ^.^

@queenado nope. In the manga she has nobody. The anime... it wasn't as lonely and full of despair as the manga. Definitely read all of the manga, it still focuses on the music, but the anime overdoes the "I want to be a singer!!" thing a bit. Izumi is also severely severely ruined in the anime. Did the anime make you cry? Manga will make you cry 10 times more. Anime also omitted my 2 favourite scenes from the manga. :/ I'm... not a fan of anime adaptations of Arina Tanemura. :(

I prefer first opening but this one still awesome as well. Although it didn't fit with anime mood later. ^^;

when this opening came, the anime started to be sooo much more sad and serious.... so I always cried when I heard this opening because I knew there'd be something veeery sad!! heh.. beautiful anime..
