PLEASE WATCH IN 'HD'720P.Two New Testament commandments clearly tell us as Christians, that we should refrain from and not use profane foul, corrupt filthy communication. We must obey these commands with the enablement of the Holy Spirit. We have no excuse to use any language that dishonors Jesus Christ, out Lord and Savior! Evil speaking and foul language must be confessed as sin, forsaken and replaced with words that please the Lord. Can we have a "clean conscience" and at the same time disobey these commandments? The answer is no! Profanity brings reproach to the very One who died for your sins on the cross! We are called not to "blend in" with the world but as new creatures in Christ we are the temples of the Holy Spirit. We have been redeemed and we now belong to God. We must be different in desires, thoughts, and conduct. We are pilgrims, and our citizenship is in Heaven. Curse words in our sinful culture must not be a part of our lives. We follow Jesus Christ who is pure and holy and who is not profane!

Two New Testament Commandments

#1 Ephesians 4:29 "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers."

#2 Col. 3:8 "But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication, out of your mouth."

Lastly, thank you for your comments. I would encourage you to put this video on your Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, or your blog. You may not have a problem with profanity, but many others do. This video could help them. Thank you and God bless you!

  • Amen! I have always felt a strong sensitivity to profanity, more than most I think. I want people to realize how corrupt and defiling it really is. We need to speak words of Godliness, not words of the enemy. We need to build each other up, not tear each other down. The Bible is very clear and plain when it says, "Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them" (Eph. 4:29), amongst other verses.

  • @JesusIsLordForever God bless you sister and your comments are excellent .No excuse for profanity if we are seeking to live a holy life.Bro.David.

  • If a person in the bible lies, swears, murders, commits adultery it never gives us an excuse to do it.You cannot take a 'narrative passage' to back up you sins. What does God says in the doctrinal passages concerning the mentioned sins.Confess, repent and stop.Grace is never excuse for living in sin or tolerating with what some say are 'little sins".NO SUCH THING IS A LITTLE WHITE LIE !!

  • Love the photos you used bro :] Great video and powerful godly message~ AMEN!

  • @ForeverPraiseJesus God bless you and appreciate your comments.May we seek to please the LORD everday with our words!!

  • Ephesians 4:29 and Colossians 3:8. We must remember that we HAVE to speak what is pure, and what is unpure is of the devil. And anyone of the devil will not be with Christ. Ive gotta say, just like anyone else, im in Highschool, and about to be a senior, and of course since middle school cussing was a fad, and still is. But eversince God showed me what is pure, cussing is of no use to me.

  • @JeshuaLivingWord Thank you for your wonderful testimony! Great to hear from a serious-minded teen who seeks to please the Lord in every area of life.Bro.David.

  • Our society has ceased to be civil and polite and all good manners have been discarded ! This is seen by the constant use of profanity and now it seems that Christians freely use it and excuse it as normal ! Every Christian can overcome this sin and stop using corrupt communication as commanded in Eph.4:29!!

  • @mistercommentman ALL SIN IS HATED BY GOD.Your comments are dealing with the national sins of our country that needs to be repented of.The sins of the tongue are personal sins that also need to be repented of.When the bible command us to 'put off filthy communication' it means what it says.We never hear about cussing again. He stopped! We did not have a bunch of 'cussing ,swearing apostles."Should we compromise with things the Word says is sin? The points in the video are based on the scriptures

  • What is wrong with you

  • I thought this video was a joke the whole time, and then it never got funny, or i missed the punch line, one or the other.

  • @JesusIsLordForever

Even the Bible uses coarse language in certain passages 2 emphasize its point

Also in that verse with paul,Im pretty sure he was referring to condemning people & making unfair judgments about them

But like i said, thats just me

i know theres probably a lot of people that are gonna disagree with me.

plus i'm not gonna say swearing is okay but i'm gonna say, we invented swear words..

we chose to make them mean wrong things

like i said though, i understand if u disagree with me

  • @JesusIsLordForever

actually it just says do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouth only what is helpful for building others up.

as for cussing, i say its fine as long as you try not to use it to offend someone.

But if someone gets offended by the fact i swear, they need to get over themselves cuz its not about them.

Paul makes it clear we are not on this Earth to please other people,

This is just my opinion but i think we all have our different views on this verse

  • A very good video sermon that a lot of people who name the name of Christ need to hear. The Lord bless you and your work for the kingdom!

  • @zezizzebezt you said that you were not going to watch the video, does that indicate, #1- a true heart of repentance, or does the "LOL" indicate, #2- a corrupt mind from a reprobate who thinks God is mocked and mocks sin? I pray the answer is #1.

Let the Lord be magnified! Have mercy on us sinners Lord Jesus!

  • 1Pe 4:10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

    1Pe 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God;

if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
