this ring covers the view to the snap ring and is welded with one small point to the exhaust. you can take small pliers and bend this ring until it breaks off. or you can take a dremel (or a similar tool like that) and cut the welding point so the ring falls off.

yes, this exhaust has KAT and is EURO 4 certified.

the pipes are very expensive in germany, because they are street legal with the first set of db-eaters. the cost about 1150 EUR.
