Building on the experience of working with applied systems psychodynamics in the Peruvian Amazons this paper will explore the contribution of systems psychodynamics thinking to the field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The current societal context of the extractive industries in Peru is showing an increasing level of interdependence that is vital for the creation of sustainable organisations engaged in global wellbeing (e.g. the exploitation of oil, wood and the search for alternative energy in is destroying the native culture and with them the forests' life). Wilfred Bion (1980) said that we believe in our ideas as our personal property, but unless we could make this contributions available to a wider group there will be no chance of mobilizing the collective wisdom of the group that could lead to further progress and development. The path to mobilizing sustainability is only made by taking the risk of trusting the "other".
