I'm about to start studying with someone who actually studied with Caballe, so it'll be in that same line of teachers... here's hoping to fill out a more lyric line and more healthy breath support for me!

Montserrat Caballe has the greatest female voice ever and extraordinary versatility and intelligence to adapt to diverse roles. It would be interesting to know of teachers along the way, but in maturity she seems to be her own best teacher. If Marian Anderson had had a full opera career she might be comparable

I don't know the text but it sounds so utterly sad, only M.Caballe can sing about despair and sadness so authentic, sweet and soft...a lovely person she is...
