  • This is a good video and it helped me a weee bit, but I'm a bran new Reason user and I'm having a hard time....I got into this with blind knowledge on it....trying to learn, but I cant find a beginners tutorial on where to start...so many ppl say their vids are tutorials when in reality there just showing off their beats...fuckin annoying. And even tho your vid was a tutorial and a good one at that....I still have so much to learn, and I really need some help. :)

  • If you need help with anything in particular, just send me a message. I take requests, and I will put up a beginner's tutorial if you want

  • >>> I think it's Important to mention that one has to have the RPG-8 track selected to get the arpeggiator type effect to work. If you have the Malström selected it won't arpeggiate.

  • Thx man, i'm working with reason for 5 years but i didnt know there was an arpegiator in it :D lol

  • 4:22 begining of thuderstruck AC/DC

    xD

  • "you can DRAG the note-oh wait maybe not" haha this would be much more convincing with an english accent. work on that. XD

  • @Nahna11 ......fella ....download the lynda.com reason tutorials..i like u am new to this stuff....it does take time...but is well worth it ...i also use a cool little program called chordpulse ......it's nice and easy to use....and u can export the chords to midi format which are playable by reason ......good luck ..nice work ben

  • you really dont know what youre doing LOL

  • @BenCheddar2 if you could do a beginner's one that would be nice

  • ok so you know the premade arpeggios that are combinator patches?

    Eg-

    patch named "Chop Shop"

search it on the sound bank if you dont know what im talkin about...

but you know how they have chords based from one note?

how do you program the arpeggio machine to do that?

im assuming its a combinator with multiple instruments???

    any help is awesome.

    thanks man.

    good video
