Doki Doki Panic - A quick look

This is a quick look at Doki Doki Panic, the game that was made into the US version of super mario brothers 2. Frankly, I think it was a change for the better, the real version of mario 2 was just a rehash and Doki Doki Panic was far less refined than the smb2 that we know.

I don't care what anyone says, our SMB2 (Super Mario USA in Japan) was a fantastic game and really laid the ground work for what Super Mario would become. All of the traits that came from the character changes have become staples for all four Mario characters. Mario Wiki has so much information on this game for those that want to check me up what I've said here.

Yeah. Even without looking up a single thing, I can tell you from childhood memory that the show with captain lou albano looked so much like DDP.

I prefer the original instrumentation on the music, but not the Sound Effects. I think a version of the US version with the original score and De-Mario-ified would probably be the best version.

Kept thinking it was mario playing and proof that the mage is Mario is at 2:25 on the second egg. He wall jumped.

Super Mario Bros 3 was released in Japan before Super Mario Bros. 2 (USA) was released here. Bob-ombs appeared in SMB3.
