Ever thought about teaching abroad? What many fail to tell you is how much money it can cost to get you started. I talk about it frankly here.

  • as always, great info! wondered about how much, though...you suggest bringing some 3K to start off with. other people are telling me only $600-700 needed. so getting conflicting info and want to be prepared. other the the things you mention in this video, what expenses can i expect? thanks again for your very great information!!

    best,

    zach

  • It depends on what country you're going to and what kind f living arrangements you'll have. My school pays for the room and gave me basics (cooking stuff and bed linens). So coming with $1000 should be enough. The more money you have the less stress you have. I would recommend at least $1000.

  • Good information, good video. BTW: What is the mood at the moment in South Korea?

  • Great. No one is worried about anything.

  • It sounds just like starting over in a new city anywhere :)

  • LOL

  • Why am I also hearing thunder crash while I read your "muahahah"??!

    LOL

BTW, I thought you could only move abroad if the broad WANTED to be moved.

    *rimshot*

  • Thanks Curt. It's amazing to think about how much one doesn't know when you stat out on this little journey. Now that you have a bachelor's degree... want to come teach?

    muhahahahahaha

  • It's not going to cause any problems!

  • I shudder (or is it shutter?) to think how many people don't have access to this kind of advice before heading out there to do what you're doing.

Looking forward to seeing that park and however much of the rest of the city you show us, Steve!

    :-)
