Starting up the Rolls Royce Merlin engine. Used to be mounted in a tank. Sweden, Örebro. This engine is the same as they used in the P51 Mustang and the Spitfire.
However, this unit lacks the supercharger mainly used in the planes.

The audio is a bit poor since it's the on bord mic with auto levels.

  • so much for stealthy tank !

  • Euro V engine I presume? :P

  • The Meteor tank version and Merlin airplane versions are somewhat different. In addition to the lack of supercharger and much lower power, it had heavier internals and often used parts that were quality rejected from the Merlin aero engine production.

  • Looks like you have some Gasket problems, letting a fair bit of oil in to the cylinders.

  • Obviously the Enviromental Health, havent yet been round yet? lol

  • This engine comes from a Centurion tank.
