  • for vertical flight takeoff and landing it's very hard to do. so the pushing force is under the gravitation center so a little horizontal force will kill your gliders balance. vertical flights are made with puler propellor planes so when you try to stay verticaly stable, the pulling force is above the gravitation center then you only need to get rid of bank axis force caused by the torque of the motor. If you don't have elerons below the propellor your plane will turn like crazy in bank axis.

  • thanks to everybody commented on my video :)

I'm really sorry for you camera ChristopherClausColm, I'll take care of the soundtracks of videos for you :D

I cut the foam with hot wire. I bought a resistence wire and put 20 volts and 5-6 ampers on it to make it hot, than cut the foam, this is the most boring part of the job so sometimes you can't cut the same profile due to cutting speed and wire temperature etc. So it's better to find a CNC sytem to cut wings..

  • how do u stop it???

  • It can slowdown very good and in the last moment I pull the stick and it flares before drop down. if you do this procedure good you can land it easily, so it can fly very slow.

  • Which one is a good starter Wing Plane? With motor or without?

  • Without motor is good idea, so light wing is better for starting. You probably will hit the plane somewhere in first flights and light wing will be stronger than heavy wing. I was hit myself with wing in first flight :P

  • nice

  • WOW bro! future rocket scientist? Good job!

  • if you throw it will it return to you? ;)

  • Did you actually home make it, or buy it as a kit?

  • Very importantly, how did you cut the foam?

  • Dude I'm making an rc flying wing too =D

Right now I'm doing the plans.

It's going to be thin (+-60mm with no vertical wings, for the ''rudder'' I'll make the electric motor pivot left and right with the third servo)

    Shaped like a triangle

Able to do vertical takeoffs & landings (by flying vertically on the prop, if it works alright)

    Equipped with retractables

Do you have any advice to give me?
