Israeli Gas Mask M15 Review & Demo

The Military version israeli gas mask. A review of the mask. Demonstration of use, and drinking tube. Also I talk about reasons why it is realistic to have a gas mask in this day and age.

This mask is military surplus. I recieved it new and in un used condition. The mask was manufactured in 1983. It uses common NATO 40mm NBC filters. Protects against biological, chemical, and nuclear weapons. This Mask will obviously not help with most aspects of a nuclear blast.

how do you change the filter on a gas mask? how long does the filter last for? and can you re-use gas masks?

@bladeimm I bought my Israeli m15 and the canteen which fits the drinking system from "Emergency preparedness" on Amazon for around $40. I received a 2003 filter and a 1995 mask. I can't GUARANTEE that you'll get the same... but ask them to pack a mask with a two digit number stamped onto your mask that is anywhere from 00 to 10 OR 93 to 99. If they can't do that for you, don't buy from them. I have no idea what they have in stock, but EVERYTHING they sent to me was good on dates.

Has anyone actually used this mask? I don't mean wear while watching this video, but actually wore and tested for any length of time exposed to any chemical agents? House smoke? Please don't answer if you don't have first-hand experience.

@ben5able you mean the filter? and that it has activated carbon in it to filter the deadly gases from the air so you don't you know DIE
