I make mine with 1 oz each: Brandy, dark creme de cacau and cream served up in a stemmed cocktail glass. This isn't a drink that you want to have much more cream than spirits in. Equal parts works best in my experience.

I make it in a chilled cocktail glass.. 1oz brandy, 1/2oz creme de cacao, fill with milk OR half&half (about 1&1/2oz) shake then strain with nutmeg as a garnish then SERVE! :)
