@belikewater001 I just went through this so I thought I would chime in 11 months later. The FG 730 is more of a strummers guitar. Set up properly you will not overdrive it with hard strumming. The LL model's are more of a fingerstyle guitar for light to medium strumming. If you are into country music or some harder rock the LL is not for you. If you switch out the saddle on the FG models they sound almost and I mean almost the same as the LL6. However, hard to beat the LL6 refined tone.

@belikewater001 Englemann top, mahogany neck (&rosewood), ebony fretboard and ebony bridge - LL6 vs sitka spruce top, nato neck, rosewood fretboard and bridge - FG730S.
I went through a lot of FG models and wanted a bit more, the LL6 gives me that.
Tone is subjective so its best to try both yourself but to me the LL6 has a bit more refined tone where as the 730 is rough and ready, just depends what you like. Good luck, let me know how you get on.

@GuillaumeRousselable Hey. Yeah its a great guitar. You will spend a lot of money trying to beat its tone! Yamaha's are top class guitars regardless of price. Buy it!
