Three more new Cd's as of April,2010

Night Train became one of the most popular Boogie Woogies of all time.In this cut, Jim and Mark dig into the boogie woogie groove and just swing hard and heavy. Trombonist Buddy Morrow had the definitive hit with this standard in the 1950's. Jim and Martha got to know Buddy and his wife through mutual friends, Walt Stuart(arranger and Perez Prado's high note trumpet artist)and his wife Barbara Stuart (Big Band singer) who became Martha's vocal coach in Florida while the Hessions did time with the Walt Disney World Park. When Jim and Martha left Florida and returned to California they were surprised how much they missed the creative arts and music community that had become their home.

  • my 4 year old son loved this (as did I) he called it the "yeehaa"ong

  • Your son has achieved an historic moment: the first "yeeeeeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaaa" response to a selection outside of country music!!!! KUDO'S to the young one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Really great, could hardly sit still! The occasional break-out into stride added spice to a locomotive performance.

  • Many thanks, glad you enjoyed the cut!

  • love the bass and piano

  • great groove! love the tune, ive met Buddy Morrow a few times, and as a trombonist I greatly admire his playing!

    Nice Boogie woogie rendition.
