If I ever make it to tampa I will make sure to visit. I love what you guys do for these beautiful cats:)

Looks like you guys did a great job fixing up those back legs :] Despite the screw slipping a bit, Skip could jump and climb that tree! Thank you BCR for your awesome work.

@cooliegee I heard when it healed the screw came out a fraction of an inch. Which is what I'm sure happened a while after they had done the x-rays.

Skip is adorable. But it seems like he has a bit of temper. Still cute though.

It absolutely warms my heart to see what you do as an organization to help these cats..... thumbs up if you agree

i am amazed. The cat was wild born, went through complicated surgery and can now walk and function.
Question: before the operation didn't the doctor know that the screws made Skip's lower abdomen too narrow? He/she couldn't see that from the x-ray's?

@cooliegee He probably knew it would make a slight difference, but this was the only way to fix Skip's problem and we didn't think it would keep him from returning to the wild :(

@dubinek88 Hi, I just tried the ustream site and it worked fine for me Skip is in his outside enclosure now, but there are archived videos on the site you can watch. Also if you visit our second channel DailyBigCat we upload a new video of skip every few weeks :)

Do you think he's still in pain, what with the narrower pelvis?
He's so sweet.

@whiskerchild No, he's fine, we can tell by monitoring him on the camera traps that he isn't in discomfort and he's on a soft food diet to prevent any future problems :)
