Compare this to youtube's Rev. Johnny Blakey "Warming By The Devil's Fire". Same emotional intensity. Son was a preacher on and off from his teenage years through his late '20s. Whiskey and women got the better of him. Had a good friend in Willie Brown. Good book on Son House called "Preaching The Blues". God bless Al Wilson, Dick Waterman and Joe Beard and all the people who helped Son. "I had a good-looking woman -- she lived in Hughes."

Thanks
I'm almost afraid of this music. It's so emotionally intense.
