Robotic Graffiti Tagger!

A labor-saving device for graffiti artists. An assistive tool for taggers working in harsh environments. Long-needed relief for graffiti artists with RSI. Or simply, pure research into as-yet-untrammeled intersections of automation and architecture. Golan Levin and Jeremy Ficca present: the ROBOTAGGER, an industrial robot arm programmed with GML, the new Graffiti Markup Language created by Evan Roth and pals at the FFFFF.AT Lab.

This project was developed in collaboration with the EyeWriter project ( http://www.eyewriter.org ) for TEMPT ONE, a paralyzed graffiti artist who has lost the use of his limbs due to Lou Gehrig's disease. @meislegend332 This robot was developed in collaboration with the EyeWriter project on behalf of TEMPT ONE, a legendary Los Angeles graffiti writer who became totally paralyzed from ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Although he is no longer able to tag with his hands, as you point out, he is now very much able to create designs with his EyeWriter eye-tracker. Google "EyeWriter" for more information.

@UltimateVenom: as you can see in the video from 1:16 through 1:22, the music is credited to Kreisläufer; it is his "Dancing Robot" EP released on the Takt Als Mittel netlabel.

@Em3riCanOc The "TEMPT" tag is by Tony Quan (Tempt One), a disabled graffiti artist completely paralyzed by Lou Gehrig's disease. He is not able to use his hands.

I give you maaad props for developing a machine like this....its nice to know that genius people who develop these types of machines are with the graff movement ...fuck all these people with negative coments.if i ever lose my arms i would want to be able to use this machine

@OnGaUr Please read the project description carefully. TEMPT, the paralyzed graffiti artist, recorded the tags drawn by the robot using the "EyeWriter" eye-tracking system. This is a special camera system that records the movements of his eyes, which are the only parts of his body that he can control.

@OnGaUr As I have explained several times in the comments below, this robot was developed for an extremely talented but PARALYZED graffiti artist who is no longer able to use his hands.
