FSXXI Ranger Mission

FSXXI Ranger Mission: picked up some guys from Ranger school in their swamp phase for an Air Assault training mission. UH-60s from Ft Rucker.

ok,then why do they go to our schools,most of the marine corp jobs have to go to our school,exception being infantry school and some others

Remember kid,dont say shit until youre actually in the military,Im a proud Soldier myself,and dont start bullshiting that you are a marine,real marines have disiplined and they personally kknow the difference between ourselves,as we work together most of the time,i went to army airborne school with about 10 other marines an aBOUT 6 seamen

@jamesjamesjr Haha! Yea, unfortunately I was on morning flight line so I missed out. The cooler weather was nice though! Our big mission even got scrubbed do to weather. I heard that planning the Ranger mission was a royal pain in the you know what though. Still would have been fun.

@PilotMan7700 I'm sure you've found out by now that only the afternoon flight line does the Ranger mission. The morning flight gets to run up in relatively cool weather, but they don't get the cool mission.

Does every class get to do the ranger mission or is it just luck of the draw? Still have some time before I even finish IERW but I'm shooting for 60's and this seems like it would be a fun training mission to do. The first of many chances to show how much we appreciate the ground guys!

for those of you that say this video discredits 11B cause of the cheese burgers and stuff, u should do some research, these are the chow birds picking up ranger school students, they bring them chow in florida phase because back in the day a student pilot did crash on the way to this training exercise so ever since then they bring chow to thank the ranger school students cause they know they're hungry...

Traditionally student pilots bring junk food for the Rangers they fly, as they know the Ranger students are starving.
