Some people don't know their rear from their mouth:
Based on a Forbes analysis of the recently published HSBC Expat Explorer Survey examining the feelings and experience of expatriates living and working in across 100 countries worldwide; South Africa emerged as the 3rd friendliest country and ranked highly in many other fields.
@sbvwyk Yes of cause a country that DIDN'T have legal racial segration that lasted into the 90s is sad and the country that DID have such a thing isn't sad, glad to see you have your priorities straight. And for you information Britain makes stuff like this because we can, freedom of speech, but then again a country with a history of repression since it's independence from, oh wait: BRITAIN probably aren't aware of that.
Haha, even though I am South African (and Afrikaans), I find myself humming this song from time to time. Not THAT bad. For all the South Africans on here, just remember: A man/woman is only as strong as that which makes him/her angry.
@Willewitte Peace, perhaps? Civilisation? Are you trying to deny the horrendous crime levels that go on in South Africa? The murders, carjackings, farm killings... As for your little remark about the two world wars, why don't we prove that? Most of the world was involved in the world wars - hence the names. I'd like to see you try and prove the South Africans were braver. When the hell do you ever hear of the South African army's importance? I rest my case. Feeling a little insecure are we?
@Murderdogs Are you always so stupid or are you just making a special effort today? What in the hell has your country to offer by itself? If you don't exploit other nations and their countries you'll never be able to survive on that shithole of an island that you call your motherland. Even during WW1 and 2 you had "Soufie's" doing the kind of operations that you were too cowardly to do. Come back when you find your brain.
@Willewitte Wouldn't be a Soufie calling us shit, would it? I hardly think your country is in a position to insult anyone. Come back when your murder rate has dropped a couple of hundred times.
I have some Dutch friends and I have some German friends. So where do you get that they can't stand South Africans? I study in Stellenbosch which is one of the towns that is part of the Afrikaaner heritage and plenty of Dutch and Germans visit the town. I know someone who runs a touring company just for the Dutch visiting South Africa. I have gotten a few Belgians and Germans as clients where I work and a lot of them feel sad to go back home after they have been to South Africa.
Die chactonbury ou is seker een van twee dinge; 'n Snotneus laaitie wat boeke met groot woorde lees en skielik dink hy dat hy slim is. Of iemand wat erg op sy moer gekry het by 'n Suid-Afrikaner...
