  • As long as there were any presentation problems, or any advertising shown before the movie, I would walk out paying NOTHING! (Fuck you, Regal Cinemas!)

  • you guys are my hero's

  • some one would abuse this idea and just watch free movies all the time, whos to say you really did/didnt like it

  • I'm interested if the people going to the film KNEW they would be paying afterwards before they got to the cinema. If they were expecting to pay, already had ten dollars in their wallet which they were ok with spending, then it's not too surprising if they gave that away after seeing a decent film.

  • as opposed to LOTRs astounding box office take. Not to mention DVD sales, selling of broadcast rights, ect... The same can be said for Rocky.

This system would never ever really work. This is the work of a guy just trying to make it in Hollywood who to quote cronoclone, seems like a douche. People are giving him money for the movie, but more so they are supporting his new idealist idea. Once the novelty wears off, after say, this movie, it won't do so well.

  • I would walk out of more movies if I ever even bothered watching that shit hollywood pumps out in theaters.

  • Imagine how much money Lord of the Rings would have made this way. Rocky I would have made a killing. People truly moved by a movie will pay more. Then again, since Hollywood mainly releases crapola, they know they wouldn't make much money and would never go for this. It would be great though, if the people behind a movie could choose to go this route, then I'd know how to spot quality before I see a film.

  • It's about time! Can't remember how many times I've walked out of a theater feeling scammed and foolish.

  • Brilliant and BOLD idea for something you believe in! We need more convition in our society to produce things of value rather than entitlement. Great job! Look forward to seeing the film...
