  • Why does bios take so long?

  • no it is a solid state drive as it has no moving parts while storing the memory... its a technicality...

i-RAM 1.0 uses a PCI slot to power the device with the battery as a backup (while switched off thanks to ATX) Justs cos its not using nand memory doesnt mean it aint solid state.

  • yea for people like me with lots of stuff on their computers, the bios takes time loading 4 of my hds my keyboard mouse and 5 card readers and my 13 usb ports

  • well, BIOS on my notebook loads in less than 1 sec

  • because bios is not on the hd or iram, its on the mb and I always hated how companies never made bios really fast.

  • windows load bar didn't even make it to the end :)

  • I agree this is NOT solid state drive. It is Volatile State Drive!

  • only if you had a faster lcd monitor...

  • you call us nerds like its bad =D
