  • It only takes a moment to replace the cover over the outside valve, while you work...

  • nice video

  • In CANADA the valve is 6 ft deep and cant be operated by the homeowner. The city charges $125.00 to turn the valve off and $125.00 to turn the valve on. If you tamper with the valve yourself and break it the city will charge you for the repair. Dont ask me how I know this information.

  • Thank you for your most helpful videos. I have been back to them several times during my showers renovations. You gave me the information and courage to do the plumbing and covered just about every possible issue. The only thing I have changed on the second shower is adding vertical length to the pipes at the rough to prevent water hammer. I'm in Columbus and wish you were closer!

  • that is a old delta valve

  • Wondering if you turned off the hot water heater....

  • I am enjoying your videos. I have been able to glean several helpful tips from them. In this video, I especially liked the way you showed how to shut off the water to the house. I wish you would have mentioned which way to turn the valve, but this seems straight forward. I was actually working on my bathroom with a delta faucet and showing me how to place the block was perfect and cleared up alot for me.

One thing that is often not shown is putting insulation back around the plumbing?

  • Very helpfull! thanks
