This is the most exquisite/detailed "BANG" trick I've seen anywhere. The dog whining as he falls makes it extremely believable. Kudos on the awesome training!

I have a 5 month old Australian Shepherd puppy Id like to teach this. Is it easier to teach them it as a puppy or should I wait till shes grown up more?

@Perdy3000 thank you! it works a lot better now and she has learned the "stick em up" trick only after 4 sessions. Going to work on the play dead now =)

I love how Luna made her death more dramatic with the barks. Cute video with nice, clear steps.

@thea831 With my dog he would do the same thing. I stood up over my dog and trained him standing up. It was easier for me to raise the treat above him without his paws touching me. I hope this helps.

@annah12343 haha, if he's a bit chubby it should be easier for him to stabilize with a larger end, lol. Try helping him up to the sit pretty position.

My dog knows the "bang" trick and im trying to teach her this one so when i tell her to "stick em up" she'll sit pretty and raise her arms, like in your vid, but im having a lot of trouble because my dog will most of the time jump up and try to get the treat- even when im holding it just an inch or less up from her. And i do make sure that it's tilted back from her nose too. Can you give me any tips?
