Skip directly to the redstone wiring: 8:51

Previously I made a bunch of videos about a minecart station that I have built in Minecraft, and I'm starting to get a lot of questions about how it *works*. The station itself is rather cramped and doesn't easily lend itself to a tutorial, so I re-created it out in the open using multiple colors of wool to really isolate each circuit.

So in this video the goal was to show you how the station works with the circuits exposed, and then show you how to wire all of them up for yourself and explain how they work.

This tutorial only uses a 3-destination selector, however you can add as many destinations as you have room for just by following the same method I used.

Come see for yourself! http://socialgamer.net/minecraft

This is built on our Creative server. To get to Grand Central Station, once connected, you can type "/warp Grand Central Station", and to see the demo station you can type "/warp Redstone Playground"

  • How long time takes it one repeater to turn on 0.8 or is that somthing i think ? But thanks for posting this video it really help me alot ... :)

Sorry for my bad english xD

  • @FaroeFigther Each notch is 1/10 of a second, or 0.1s

The maximum delay for a single repeater is 4/10ths of a second, or 0.4s

  • are there any chances of getting still pictures of the different areas? so like we have something easier to copy from? id be grateful if I/we could have 10-15 different pictures or 'blueprints' as they were of the whole setup. :D

  • @MisterMontage85 Sorry, this video is the only thing that remains of this tutorial. I destroyed it after recording, since it was never intended to be permanent.

  • i cant join!:(

  • @rockonruup1 You can join. You just need to re-read the directions on the website. There are two things you need to do before the server will let you connect.

  • i don't suppose this still works?

  • The carts don't come back down on the overflow at the top. It looks just like yours too. They just get stuck at the top

  • For my own station using your example, I am using detector rails to send another pulse through the reset, so after the cart is on it's way, the system is re-reset. :)

  • @RageOfOrder Ok, Thank you very much. I couldn't find it on google :)

  • @RageOfOrder oh, fair enough. thanks though. its still a pretty good tutorial and schematic :)

  • @keensta123

Any ideas??? Also my bad totally forgot to add this part to the main comment :)...
