'THE CHOICE' - Ruth excerpt

This is an excerpt from a film about abortion called 'THE CHOICE' which was screened by SBS Television in Australia. In this film, five women and one man talk intimately about their personal experience of abortion. The film was made for a general audience and sensitively explores a space on this issue that goes beyond polarised simplicities. We see complex human beings whose stories give us valuable insights into how people struggle to deal with an unplanned pregnancy. We see how they work through their options to make, what for most, is a very difficult choice.
