NicoNico Douga Medley Live 組曲 『ニコニコ動画』 by Yukie Dong

Yukie went to UC Berkeley CSA-CPU Karaoke Contest 2008 on Nov 1 =D
It is a singing contest for Chinese Students hold at UC Berkeley. Thanks to the judges and the audiences, Yukie got the 3rd place in the contest ^-^v
I was singing a 8-min cut of NicoNico Douga Medley for my final round (due to the time limit for the contest)
and I was the only one singing Japanese songs =P I'm very surprised that the audience likes my performance even they are not otakus.

I did make some low-lever mistake like off the rythem a bit since i was paying all my attention to the clapping and missing the background music =P Got a few points off there.

It's good. But there is much room for improvement..as I am sure you realize. some of your high notes don't reach it or overshoot and your low notes lack power. But, props for trying out this song. It's so long...Which is really a stress on the voice. Keep practising ^^

@Loclecolee LOL She claims on her site she is a singer with >3000 fans. Now she's an amateur. And, please, not having anything in my channel means I am not qualified to review? So I need to be "qualified" to post a negative comment, but don't need to be "qualified" to post a positive comment? How hypocritical. And what's "qualified"? Being a better singer with more fans? Do I have to be Mariah Carey in order to say what I want to say here? Do I have to praise her because other people say so?

@Loclecolee So it has to do with my singing skill now? You might be her friend or someone who knows she is better "now". But I'm simply a random audience who does not think much of her performance and does not like the fact that she deleted negative comments of others. As an audience I don't have be able to sing better than a singer in order to tell if the singer performs well or not. As an audience I expect a singer to be MUCH better than me and able to take criticism.
