其實Sandy 基本唱功確比Faye 扎實, 但Faye小腔的音色比較易入耳, 而且選擇的路線比Sandy 聰明, 商業藝術平衡得很好. 李宗盛雖然幫助Sandy在台湾普及, 但是也埋葬了Sandy前衛的特質.

在这里比较谁比谁好实在没有意义，王菲的成就比林忆莲好除了唱功­，还要天时地利人和的配合，连王菲自己也认为她的成功里，运气占­了一定因素，就像梅艳芳的唱腔，既不高音，也不是什么巨肺式唱将­，难道梅艳芳就比不上王菲或林忆莲吗？不是的，天后之所以是天后­，在于她们开创了一个时代，唱出了那个时代的灵魂与人情。我们应­该庆幸有此好声相伴。那些谁比谁好的论调，丢给那些人吧，我们要­做的只是珍惜，欣赏。

I think Sandy Lam has outlasted many divas and will continue to thrive. Her dedication to music makes her a first class musician. Who else is there from her era? She isn't only "still standing." Her voice and musicality has never been better. Faye Wong? Doesn't come close. Especially in this day and age where live performances trumps album sales as an indicator of musicianship, Sandy stands alone. Her live performances are the benchmark for chinese music.

@sinsing46 我真的和你想的一样。我常对别人说，虽然我是王菲的歌迷，但是林­忆莲的Live真的太好了，比起王菲真的扎实很多，可以不能说些­什么，毕竟真的歌路风格都不一样。王菲的外在包装和个性其实也成­就了她的成功，很多歌迷到现在还会说：“她很酷之类的”，都不像­是听音乐了。

林憶蓮的唱功的確比王菲好,唱出歌的感覺和意境都不比她差。

感覺上王菲是比較冷和神秘,林憶蓮則是比較溫暖

我兩人也很喜歡,各有不同的味道

so strange to argue whether faye or sandy is better. both are first class divas. sandy has amazing range, emotional, with a special touch of tenderness. faye has incomparable talents and ethereal vocal.

if a comparison has to be made, this song should be compared with chyi's songs in "camel, bird, fish"
