On a lighter note! I used to listen to this song over & over on my Grandma's record player in the 60's. Getting old aren't I!! But, I love this country and have a deep respect for anyone who has EVER fought for and defended it, even back to the beginning. Thank you all for the freedom I have today.

my friend's son-in-law was the top of his class all through the GB school, on the final test he finished 45 seconds short of the required time. He washed out, and will have to wait another year to try again. There is no, lowering of the bar just for getting close.

I wish to dedicate this song to commemorate Memorial Day to all of our precious brave soldiers and especially to my relatives who serve and have served: to my great uncle who died during the Bataan Death March; my 2nd cousin General Omar Bradley and my cousin who is training as we speak in the Ranger program: Hooooaaah!!!

I used to listen to this on dad's reel to reel. I have a photo of him vaccinating children near "RUNG SAT (DELTA) MEDCAP 1967" Dad was proud to have served. God bless our troops that lay their life on the line and their families.
