I'm going to have to call bullshit on that cause my 06 six Banger stang stays at the rear quarter of my buddy's 05 goat and all I have is a sct tune, duels, intake, mabey the goat was boosting I would belive that. Or the stangs driver can't drive. Either way! either way!

hell yea. i dont think he was really trying, that or he had no turbo lol... my 6er will run...then again shes got an alcohol injcted blower, stage 3 heads and cams... but it aint the best thing on the road...far from it. however im selling my x charger extreme, and going with about a 76 MM turbo... should be intresting then. made 580 whp on a 76 mmin a 3.8 stroked to 4.3

@CynthiaJacquelyn Turbo is completely different than SC in these cars, a SC is almost useless on a V6, because of the power lost to power it, the same car with a turbo with the same boost will put out better numbers. i'm not to big on the 4.0, i have a 3.8 2001, which is underpowered, but when i get to modding it i'm just buying a custom block so i dont have to deal with limiting myself

@CynthiaJacquelyn oh no. there's no way a stock would perform well. i've had many mods done to mine. air intake replaced, throttle body, air housing, i have an x pattern duel exhaust, i have a custom tune by BAMA, and long piper headers. im in the process now of getting started on supercharge. but i agree stock is slow and limited.

I think you are the silly one for even bringing up your car in this conversation, unless you spent a silly amount of money into your car... if not, good luck getting your 15 second car to do anything.... my 2005 Lincoln LS ran 14.7 @ 98MPH, if 2005-2010 4.0L V6 S197's run slower than a stock lincoln I really contest your statement

Sorry but no, a 2005 GTO traps 109MPH stock.... that 4.0L would need a shortblock stressing amount of PSI to even break even with a lightly modded LS2 GTO. I have a 2006 and I roll with mustang guys, we have an X charged 2006 4.0L with about 5K worth of suspension work, full bolt on's, 12 PSI, skinnies up front and slicks in the back with a 3800 stall and he ran a one time BEST of 12.7 @ 106MPH on a 40F day... during the summer he runs low 13's all day @ around 102MPH
