  • These rows are like barbell rows pimp daddy. Difference for anybody that may come across this video. Barbell rows u some what have momentum on ur side. These type u have to pull it up each time. Kinda like a dead lift.

  • @mrcsharp12 Comment and topic ASIDE, Trust me, Mark Rippetoe is not the be all and end all of strength coaching.

  • are pendlay rows just back rows then?

  • such romantic music

  • @brownbandito7 if you're doing other work that hits the traps hard, than I would go with the pendlays due to their emphasis on lats, bi's, core, while an angled barbell row hits the traps hard (developing incredible traps) but de-emphasizes the lats and can also possible cause other lifts with trap work not as result friendly.

  • is the pendlay row better than a barbell row where your back is at a higher angle?

  • looking good; this has become my new favorite exercise in the last month. nothing else can make your upper back, rector spinae, glutes, and hams sore all at the same time!

  • @justdidthistocommen1 thanks man, appreciate you taking the time to comment

  • @jacko717 alright so obviously this comment thread happened months ago for you and you probably don't give two shits anymore, but personally i think what you said made sense and these guys seemed like they were raging for no reason

  • @jacko717 You know nothing about weight lifting, 15-20 reps are you crazy? Mark Rippetoes would smack the shit out of you for suggesting this.
