This is an assignment from THDA 551: Acting I. Acting I is an introductory level course and is required for all performance-based students. In their scene, these students were asked to show evidence of several acting techniques, such as: set specific goals for their characters and then pursue those goals, show a clear relationship between the characters in the scene, identify the obstacles preventing the characters from reaching their goals and pursue different ways of overcoming those obstacles, create a complete back-story (given circumstances) to add depth to their characterizations and acting choices. respond to their partner's acting "as if for the first time." • I think all these drama students/teachers filming these videos need to take a few lessons in media. Particularly how to use a microphone correctly.
