Dumb ass review.. Just because you don't understand the story, it doesn't mean the movie isn't good... Smokin' Aces is a GREAT movie.. Too bad you said a bunch of bullshit in the review.. Said things that didn't actually HAPPEN in the movie.. The feds didn't send him to hide in the hotel.. He was hiding out from everyone, including the feds there because he was going to narc everyone out..

Your biggest complaint is a minor quibble. I understood the story just fine. I also understood the story SUCKED OUT LOUD!!! Poor execution, poor plot, and less than stellar acting. Plus, there was no one to root for, which was my biggest complaint.

two things that are wrong with this mpvie: there's no one to root for (like u said), and the ending is way way way too serious. It should have been all out guns and all out funs. And the reason the ending was so bad is that it has such a stupid twist... I mean cmon, the swede is a doctor? lol.

With that being said, the rest of the movie is a lot of fun, and if u haven't seen it yet, and u love shoot em ups, go see it. really good action scenes.

You're not always looking for someone to root for.. The main thing they're trying to show from the very beginning is that we don't know who is going to get there first, and that's what you should have been looking for. You should have been asking who is going to make it all the way. Not HOPING for a specific one. Because you don't know. But ok, it seems you need someone to root for. You must like superhero movies or something I'm guessing. Give me a review of The Dark Knight after it comes out..

THATS EXACTLY HOW I WOULD PUT IT!,i was trying to find someone to root for but it changes scenes so often it almost looks like a roll of choppy editing

very good Review guy you do not like it but hate it that is what you think cool i thonk that smokin aces was a good movie good story line and a great ending the people in the movie are fun to see and some are funny to see some of them were out there but still cool i think this movie will go as a under rated movie like narc they are both great and a good time i give smokin aces a 8 out of 10
