Dog run over by a car in Bulgarian Rally

This is an incredible and evolving story.
Fast forward to minute 5.50... a car driving at full speed crashes onto a stray dog... the animal is promptly removed by a policeman to the side of the road, like garbage. Left there to die...

But this story doesn't end this way... Diana Zhikova, director of Let's Adopt Bulgaria saw this video on the net and decided she couldn't just turn away from this. So Diana spoke to one of our members, Iliqna, living nearby that spot and asked to her go find the dog's body...

MIRACLE!!!! the dog was alive!!!! a pregnant female, left to die on the side of the road was still breathing although very faintly.

The dog has been inmediately moved to our veterinary clinic in Blagoevgrad, about 150km away from Sofia receiving emergency care. Once her condition is stabilized she will be moved to Sofia, and from there rehomed.

Ever been to Bulgaria? I have, dogs run wild in the streets everywhere, there are millions of wild dogs wandering around, there as common as birds there, so I guess the people are used to seeing things like this. I'm sure you don't shit your pants and bang your fist when you hit a sparrow on the road.
