Adaptation assez réussie de l'excellent jeu d'arcade. Il ne manque plus que le stick rotatif.

  • I wrote this version of this game.

  • And a very great portage of this game

  • It's true, the Amiga version is a lot better than this. They look the same but the Amiga has smooth scrolling and more importantly the 2 player co-op which adds loads of funt to the game.

  • @JasonLee310 ? :) The whole idea of a port is to replicate the original as closely as possible. If the original scrolled, then a "port" that cannot even scroll is obviously poorer than a port that CAN replicate the scrolling.

The sound in the ST version is terrible - YM was never any good, has no in game music, no scrolling, less colours and worst animation = poor port.

The ST port of something like Bubble Bobble IS a good port.

  • @JasperAbraxxious

    Amiga Midnight Resistance scrolls slower

than the Midnight Resistance arcade game

scrolling doesn't make the Amiga port better

  • @lutzdify How do u rotate the gun?. Are you using the KB

  • This game is awsome. Loved playing it.

  • @JasonLee215 have you ever played the arcade version? the Amiga port is two player and has decent scrolling good music where as this this dosent

  • This port's OK. I have the arcade version on MAME. :)

  • old :) but I love it :)

  • @JasonLee215 - The St version is terrible, forget the lack of music and lower colour count, but it does not even scroll! At least the Amiga version scrolls like the arcade version.

Any no, Im not bashing the St - I have a lovely 1040STe with Tos 2.06, 4mb ram and a Satandisk that I treasure. But even with my love of the Atari, it is quite obvious that the Amiga version of this game is vastly superior.
