  • i would really like to know if you could do this in a fish bowl?? and put it in a room with good sunlight? their so beautiful!

  • @2138red No, it wouldn't be possible to get such results in plant growth in a fish bowl. One needs the right amount and colour of illumination, proper fertilization, CO2 supply etc. A small planted aquarium COULD be done in a fishbowl, but I doubt it could be maintained on sunlight.

  • @akwabiotop thanks for the reply. i guess ill just have to save for an aquarium. thanks for telling me so soon i was going out tomorrow to get the bowl and plants.

  • @2138red Well, before you spend any money on aquarium, plants, and other stuff, I'd strongly suggest to read something about setting up planted tank,or about setting up an aquarium in general. There are tons of articles in the internet, just look at "Planted Tank . Net" or "Aquatic Plant Central . Com" for starters (there should be some "Beginners" sections). Getting some knowledge first will spare you unnecessary costs, and save you from many disappointments :)

  • @akwabiotop thanks ill do that. you have been a big help.

  • @2138red Cheers, mate :) If you have some more questions - just ask! (and you could also subscribe to my official YT channel DefiniteAquascapeTV :) )

  • @RONNIEH33713 This song's name is "Jaracanda", and it is available for free with iLife 09 for Mac. I did search for this song in the internet, but it seems it is not present anywhere...

  • any one know the sound track to this?

  • @sagafreja OK, got the answer from my friend :) What he does is just securing the "hill" with the stones, either used as "terraces", or inserted perpendicular to the surface of the "hill", to act as a barrier. It is important only until plants get proper roots - after that the flora prevents the substrate from sliding.

  • @sagafreja You can use some plastic garden mesh to hold it in place :) But anyway, I have just asked one of my friends-aquascapers how do they do it, he didn't answer yet, but when he does I'll post it here :)
