Lover's Waltz - Fiddle, Guitars

Matt & Chris now play at http://www.kpearlyedition.com Lover's Waltz played by Matthew on the fiddle and his brother Christopher on the guitar. They are playing on stage at the Inland Northwest Bluegrass Association stage in Spokane Washington. Every month the INBA has what they call a Bluegrass Thang where 5 or 6 bands play. Christopher and Matthew were honored to be able to play there. They are playing with their instructor, mentor, teacher, Andrew Wilson. Matthew plays with the North Idaho Hat Band

Whether you are playing here or at a private performance or on your CD. your interpretation and style of playing the song never fails to affect me. It draws both a degree of sadness mixed with happiness. You balance the two out and I'm sure there are other emotions in there too. Of all the versionsof this song I have found I keep comming back to this one. It has a slower , steadier tempo than most but the way someof the phrases are executed are simply superb. If I ever learn to play the fiddle I want to be able to play only this song and only the way Mathew plays it. Brilliant!
