26.2 - The Long Run (2008 Disney Marathon)

A slow and steady tale from the 2008 Disney World Marathon.

The fun began at the opening ceremonies and also included a nice salute to our troops. Of course there were Disney characters and fireworks.

Then it was mile after mile of Disney World, starting in Epcot, up to the Magic Kindgom, then Animal Kingdom and finally MGM Studio and back to Epcot.

My trusty Garmin Forerunner 305 helped keep pace along the way.

Also some funny footage of some guys running in flamingo costumes.

The finisher medal was a special 15th anniversary medal (at the end of the video)

Also this is my first using iMovie '08.

congratulations on accomplishment.

I ran the same marathon, and in about the same time too.  5:37, I think my time was.

It was my second marathon.
