Alternative Hairstyles [by Bryanna]

Here's a bunch of goth, punk, hippie, emo, scene, whatever you'd like to call them... hairstyles. These are a bunch of hairstyles I adore and would love to try someday. Not only are they beautiful, but they're not something you see everyday. I hope I gave some of you some awesome hairstyle ideas :-) My favorites are 1:10, 2:44, and 2:54.

i guess i'll just keep the length of my hair and dye it a darker grey...

@richardfanx3 the wrong thing about it is that my hair is curlier when it's shorter. i had quite short hair two years ago, and it didn't work for me at all...

@iwannadrinkacupoftea Same :( I have curly hair. I love short hair on girls but when I have it, I look like Ronald McDonald haha. It's a disaster. I'm growing mine out also.

@maggalette101 You will have to bleach your hair. Have you ever used bleach on your hair before? Depending on how dark your hair is it could take several sessions before it's bleached light enough to dye this bright red. Bleaching your hair too much can cause it to become dry, frail, and break off. So you have to be careful. But you can go to Sally's beauty supply and buy the bleach kits and hair dye.

@emmafusm But short hair on a woman is rarely seen (especially that short), therefore it's alternative and different to me. I see punk girls with short hair all the time. It's not about the actual person and what they do, but their hairstyle. The girl with the afro probably doesn't frequent any goth clubs either, but afros are alternative and not usually percieved by the media as pretty. But they are unique so I included them. And they are beautiful!
