This video could have been a LOT better, but I left my helmet cam sitting on the front seat of my car, back at the shop, so I wasn't able to do a two camera angle thing like I had planned. If the weather's good next week, I'll do this one again with two cameras.

Many thanks to Jeff, the owner of the Eagle Vista RV Park, for the shot of me tipping the can.

And fortunately, when I got back to the shop, my car's windows were still intact, and the camera was still sitting on the seat! I could kick myself for that one.

  • To camp or to RV, that is the question! rvparkandcampingexpert (.) com helped me decide.

  • @quixoticoaf81

How about camping in a converted garbage truck/RV? Now THAT'S doing it in style!

  • Kozy Rest Kampground checked out your video. Now I know what Jeff does in his spare time.

  • From looking at the place, it seems Jeff's a pretty busy guy. Last time I was by there (been a while now, as I no longer have the garbage truck job) it looked like he'd put a lot of work into the camp ground.

  • this video changed my life ,,,,

  • I thought you were an equipment operator? Is this a part time job or something?

  • Yeah. I'm actually planning to do one like that. I was going to do it yesterday, but I didn't want to bug the RV park owner too much, so I decided to do it another time.

  • great video any way you could get a shot standing on top of the cab and then pack the load into the body?that would be a good angle especially with the clarity of the camera

  • I think it was from the day before - different driver. Generally, we clean out our own stuff from behind the blade, but sometimes it gets missed.

  • Awesomely-great video!

Was all that trash at the front of the hopper jist from that day, or has that accumulated for several days? Cause it looks like it needs to be swept lol
