Why must you attack bands like Marilyn Manson and Evanescence? They never said they were gothic. :/ Just because some of their fans think they are gothic, doesn't mean the band members are poseurs. Also it's possible to like those kind of bands and real goth bands at the same time. I love Siouxsie & The Banshees, Christian Death, The Cure, Specimen and Bauhaus as much as I love Marilyn Manson.

Lol, I am a fan of Manson's music and lyrical work, ideas such as nonconformity, nihilism, being a "nobody" and something about a dope fiend, but I still respect and enjoy his music just as much as i love Rozz's music. Don't hate Manson's music! Just his wannabe goth fanbase!

@DEVORAVILLARANES it's obvious, Christian Death and Rozz Williams and Specimen and Alien Sex Fiend and 45 Grave are better and gothic than Marilyn Manson, Marilyn Manson isn't góthic; I like Joy Division Too :)

Just a note, since some guys are having such a nonsense discussion around this. First of all, Rozz Williams said in several ocasions that he and his music was more like Romantic Punk or something like that. The term 'gothic' related to music was born when the manager of Joy Division said that the sound of J.D. was to the other bands like the Goths were to the Roman.
