I, for one, am keenly aware that the compulsion to correct others' grammar, common in Asperger's syndrome (including myself), is annoying. Here, two news anchors go at it when one tries to discuss the "seventy-year anniversary of the ATM machine," and the other, who has Asperger's syndrome, submits to the compulsion.

  • I have AS and i've been in such situations more then once, I even correct myself wich I find annoying.

  • It's nice to know that I'm not the only aspie around who even annoys himself! :-]

  • let's found a self support group for self annoyers anonymus and annoy each other :P

I'm always a bit annoyed about aspies being sorry about the way they are. Non-autistic people are very rude and tactless in some other contextes without feeling sorry about their way to be.

  • I cover the rudeness of certain NTs in other skits.

  • I agree. That's part of why Rielan (the male anchor in the skit) apologizes both to Kelly (the female anchor) and the home audience once he realizes how rude he's been.

  • How do I get this one i have not seen this on the free version either

  • It should be on the list of sets when you click on the leftmost icon. (But then again I sometimes see others using sets that I don't see, so it may be random.)

  • @Zapherenath I think it was the teacher who needed to learn to be meek.

  • @aspiejohn I get like that with people (I did that in 4th grade and I had to write the Beatitudes 10x because I corrected the teacher).

  • I, too, have corrected people for such tautologies as ATM machine and PIN number!

  • To be honest people with AS should not use it as an excuse to be rude to others. Its important to try and help others and not look down on them.
